Discipline VS Spontaniety...Which is Best?

By: Kathy Butryn

Kathy Butryn (pictured left) is a gifted communicator, author, and life coach whose Toronto-based ministry reaches across North America. Because of the guidance and wisdom she has received from God in the face of countless life experiences, she has been gifted to inspire and train the leaders of today and tomorrow. Here is a fantastic encouragement from her, to us, about valuing and redefining the "D"-word... "discipline"...
Enjoy.

I was doing my dishes the other day, and got to thinking. Actually, that's when I do a lot of my thinking. I was thinking about a client I am working with that is having some time-management issues. As our conversations have progressed, she has made it very clear that she is the "spontaneous" type. She absolutely hates to be "tied down" to a day-timer or other tool of tracking her to-do lists and daily activities. Rarely does she write anything down (maybe it's just my age, but I have a hard and fast principle I follow: What I don't write down, I don't remember! Anyone else out there like me???)

Two From Galilee

Rehearsals are well underway for this year's Christmas production! All cast and chorus actors meet to sing and dance their hearts out on Tuesday nights, 7:30-10:00pm.

You may remember that we mounted this show back in 2006. We have made some adjustments to it since then in order to bring it to life this year. Not familiar with TFG? Check out some of the videos from other churches posted on YouTube!

We are so thankful that God has gifted people like you with the talents and abilities needed to put a production like this together! How blessed are we as a church, amen?! We are looking forward to what he is going to do through all of us, to bring glory to HIS name as he draws people to himself.

Check back here for more info on show times and ticket prices in the coming weeks!

Who are you inviting to the show?

WELCOME!

Hello everyone!

This is the place to find all kinds of information about the Worship Arts Ministry of the Peoples Church in Toronto! With this being our first venture into the blogging world, you can be sure that this page will see numerous adjustments in the days and weeks to come as we tweak it to work at its uttermost potential!

You will see a myriad things appear on this blog. We'll be posting articles, announcements, reminders, event details, things to celebrate, and things to encourage all of us as we continue to serve Christ together in our local church and community.
